The most important aspect of becoming a member of the GW College Republicans is engaging yourself in active involvement with Republican causes.
This fall, we will be afforded the opportunity to travel across the country, with campaign trips ranging from Maryland and Pennsylvania, to longer trips to states such as Colorado. Specific campaign dates will be coming soon! If you are interested on traveling to either of these states, or if you have information regarding additional opportunities, please contact Political Affairs Director Victor Bogachev.
Another way to become involved is to go to training seminars or conferences offered by conservative groups in the DC area. Throughout the year, we will provide information on conferences such as the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual conference, the Value Voters Summit, the Conservative Political Action Committee, and the Republican Governor’s Association. These events fill up quickly, so we encourage you to register early. Training seminars are offered by the Leadership Institute for grassroots activism, and the National Rifle Association offers a training seminar for Second Amendment activists.
Finally, prominent conservative speakers are generally one of the easiest ways to bring others into the conservative movement. If you have any connections with Republican speakers, please contact Victor Bogachev with your information.
