Intern will work closely with the candidate and campaign staff and assist in all aspects of the campaign, from social media &#038; communications to grassroots campaigning. Interns will gain invaluable experience in local campaigns, make great networking contacts, and help elect the first Republican to a Ward position in DC. Applicants must have excellent writing and communication skills. We are very flexible to class schedules. Internship will continue through to November 2nd.</p>

<p>About the Freedom First PAC: Tim Pawlenty is the current second term governor of Minnesota and The Freedom First PAC is his way of helping conservative candidates get elected to state and national office in 2010. We provide endorsements and financial donations to races all over the country to help candidates get elected. The DC office is located at 16th and K.  Prospective applicants can learn more at www.timpawlenty.com</p>
<p>As an intern at Freedom First PAC, you will help to elect common sense conservative candidates in 2010.  The intern would be engaged in the day-to-day operation of the PAC in a variety of different capacities.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:</p>
<p>·      Assist Finance and Political Directors in day-to-day operations</p>
<p>·      Help with social media outreach</p>
<p>·      Correspond with donors</p>
<p>·      Assist with fundraising event coordination</p>
<p>·      Assemble and maintain lists in databases</p>
