<p>Fall &#8211; 2011</p>
<p>Republican Representative Rich Nugent (FL05) is currently seeking full and part-time unpaid fall interns for the months of September &#8211; December.  Interns will be responsible for assisting with general office duties (answering phones, passing out mail, checking faxes), and assisting legislative staff with research and writing. Performing constituent services (scheduling tours, processing flag requests, and legislative correspondence) will also be an integral part of each internship. Interns will be encouraged to attend hearings, briefings, and other Congressional proceedings. Interns will also be assigned work by the staff as needed which will focus on electronic research, but could encompass other duties as well. Journalism Interns work closely with the Editorial Staff to monitor and produce original content. As an Administrative Intern, you will provide front-desk support by assisting with filing, greeting visitors, and placing supply orders. While assisting the Office Manager with projects as they come up, your day-to-day tasks will be mainly editorial requests.</em></p>
