House Republican Conference

The House Republican Conference is looking for interns for the Fall 2008 semester. The Conference has 3 main divisions: press, policy, and member services/administration. We are a leadership office, so our interns don’t spend all day giving tours of the Capitol and talking on the phone to constituents, like they do in regular Member offices. Our interns do a lot of research - both in press and policy - and talk directly to Members of Congress and their staff in the effort to make our office a one-stop shop for information for all Republican House Members. They help set up for Member meetings, briefings, and press conferences. Our interns play a vital role in the functioning of our office.

Interns may be paided a stipend for thier work.

Interested students should email their resume and a cover letter to emily.seidel@mail.house.gov with the word “INTERN” in the subject line.
