John Boozman (R-AR)

Congressman John Boozman (R-AR) is seeking a motivated, dependable and professional individual for a 5-month legislative internship (January 2009 - May 2009) opportunity in his Washington D.C. office. The intern’s main duties will be logging constituent correspondence, sorting/coding constituent mail, and legislative research, but may also assist in Capitol tours and other various administrative support tasks. Arkansas ties are encouraged, but not required. Internships may qualify for academic credit upon completion. The office of Congressman George Radanovich (CA-19) is seeking applicants for internships in his Washington, DC office starting in January. Consideration will be given to reliable, motivated individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential qualities. Priority will be given to those with a demonstrated interest in the political process. Responsibilities include providing phone support, assisting constituents, processing constituent mail, conducting research and working with the staff on special projects. - The office of Congressman John Shadegg (AZ-3) is seeking candidates for internships starting immediately in his Washington, DC office. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work diligently and upon instruction in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidates will be personable, detail oriented, and able to interact well with constituents. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with the legislative staff, learn about the legislative process on Capitol Hill, and attend briefings of interest. Responsibilities include answering the phone, giving tours of the Capitol, assisting with constituent correspondence, and supporting the legislative staff on various projects. Republican House Policy Committee is looking for interns to immediately fill two temporary paid internship positions. Interns will be primarily involved in general administrative/clerical work, however there will be opportunities for directly assisting staff with projects and attending Congressional briefings. Responsibilities include conducting research, assisting with press events, and strategically thinking with staff members regarding different governmental issues.
