Elie Litvin, a sophomore Political Communications major in the School of Media and Public Affairs, hails from Brookline, Massachusetts. Having first become politically involved as a Russian interpreter for Mitt Romney’s 2002 gubernatorial campaign, he compares the experience of growing up Republican in Massachusetts to a boot camp for someone aspiring to broaden our party’s tent.
This upcoming year, Elie is looking forward to growing the network of College Republican alumni, parents, and friends. He also hopes to expand the networking opportunities for all of our members by organizing regular ‘mix and mingle’ events with DC area Republican young professionals.
This summer, Elie is excited to return to Scott Brown’s campaign office as a fundraising intern. During the special election, he assisted Brown’s consulting team, and helped manage the record-shattering ‘money bomb’. Aside from his GOP involvement, Elie does bar/club promotions in DC, and enjoys exploring the city with friends. He can’t wait to meet and work with all of the incoming CR’s!
