Will Frey is a sophomore double majoring in Economics and Political Science.

Will proudly touts the fact that he is one of a handful of Republicans who hails from New York City. Growing up in the midst of liberal government excesses taught Will to distrust the statist paternalism propagated by the left.

Drawn to GW by the allure of the District’s political environment, Will found the College Republicans and became active at every possible opportunity for the McCain-Palin ticket and went on deployments to Pennsylvania and Virginia to campaign.

Will campaigned extensively for Virginia’s new Governor Bob McDonnell in 2009, leading trips to Alexandria, Lynchburg and Fairfax.

Will’s mission is to advance intellectual conservatism and libertarianism on campus and beyond. He is practically obsessed with James Madison; you can often find him reading the Constitution and Federalist Papers.

Apart from the College Republicans, Will serves as Managing Editor of The GW Patriot, a conservative and libertarian journal of politics and campus culture. He interned for the DC Republican Committee, is a House Proctor in Thurston Hall and an avid New York Mets fan.

When Will isn’t studying or fighting for the right cause, he enjoys running, golf, philosophy, and arguing against big-government tools.
