Representing and promoting the conservative message at GW

Tayler Lofquist

Vice Chairman, Junior, Mentor, OH

Tayler Lofquist is a junior from Mentor, Ohio. She is double-majoring in History and Political Science, with a special passion for Cold War history. A love for politics brought Tayler to GW, and she has endeavored to spread the conservative message on campus and beyond.

Raised by a businessman father, Tayler learned the values of fiscal conservatism and personal responsibility at an early age. She was the “token” Republican in her high school, and loved to engage in lively political discourse with her friends and teachers. Since coming to GW, Tayler has continued to defend her values both in and out of the classroom. This has included campaigning with the College Republicans in DC, Virginia and Louisiana, and also holding an internship on Capitol Hill.

Since she was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tayler is a die-hard Steelers fan and never misses a game. She is also involved in her sorority, Chi Omega, works at the GW Writing Center, and is active at the Newman Center and within the SA’s panel on Dining Services.

Feel free to invite her to dinner at Thai Place any time!
