Jake Wolf, a senior from Upstate New York, is a Religion Major and Political Science Minor. For the past year, Jake has served as the Treasurer for the GW College Republicans, and will again serve as Treasurer for the upcoming year. Following in the footsteps of his source of inspiration, Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-WI), Jake never hesitates to take extreme or unpopular positions in his quest to vanquish the center-left “kings of the earth.”

Jake, in his efforts to support true conservatives, has campaigned in Florida for Mitt Romney, and has run campaign trips to Colorado for Bob Schaffer and to Georgia for Saxby Chambliss. As a staunch advocate for the unborn, one of his proudest moments was working with Colonials for Life to mobilize the GW contingent for the March for Life. Throughout the District, Jake also participates in the Young America’s Foundation, plays trombone and tuba in Symphonic Band and Colonial Brass, is an NRA member, and single-handedly keeps TGIF’s in business.

As part of his crusade against liberal elitists, Jake interned for elegant and extraordinary Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) in the Spring, where he answered calls from angry socialists and gracious right-wingers alike. For the past year, he also worked for the National Archives as a Archival Technician and has recently been elected the Treasurer for the DC Federation of College Republicans. During the Fall, Jake will spend his hours interning for the Family Research Council. In his spare time, Jake enjoys dissenting from the rabid acceptance of the lukewarm into the political process, advocating for the incorporation of the Third Amendment, practicing evangelical Protestantism, honoring Hugo Black, researching animals, and playing tennis.

His office hours are Tuesdays from 10-12.
