Jake Wolf, the Chairman of the GW College Republicans, is a senior majoring in Religion and minoring in Political Science and Biology, which he realizes is a peculiar amalgamation. Jake, who hails from Syracuse, New York, served as the Treasurer of the College Republicans for the past two years and Treasurer for the DC Federation of College Republicans last year. In these roles, he has organized March for Life activities, various membership events such as the shooting range trip, and campaign trips to Colorado for Bob Schaffer, Georgia for Saxby Chambliss, and Virginia for Bob McDonnell.
Outside of his life in the College Republicans, Jake is also a member of the University Band and Colonial Brass where he plays trombone and tuba. For the past two years, Jake has worked at the National Archives. He has also interned for conservative stalwart Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and the Family Research Council.
This upcoming year, Jake would like to focus on coordinating campaign trips to Nevada, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio to defeat the radical liberal agenda being put forth by the Obama administration and his mindless minions in Congress. In addition, Jake plans on coordinating numerous enthralling events—such as bringing prominent speakers to campus, issue-oriented rallies, social membership events, and the like—to increase the sense of organizational community on campus.
Continuing in the footsteps of his political and personal hero, Senator Joseph Raymond McCarthy (R-WI), Jake enjoys crusading against the onslaught of liberalism against traditional American culture. Besides this, Jake has an affinity for baking, studying animals in his quest to become a veterinarian, playing tennis, rooting for the Yankees, honoring Hugo Black, and fighting the thankless battle to have the Third Amendment incorporated.
His office hours are Thursdays from 12-2.
