Cynthia Meyer
Cynthia Meyer is a sophomore from the great state of Texas. She is pursuing a major in Political Science with a minor in Journalism & Mass Communication. In the 2008-2009 semesters, she served as one of the Freshman Representatives for the College Republicans, and is proud to serve as Publications Director this year.
During the 2008 election, she tirelessly campaigned for the McCain-Palin ticket in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Currently, she is involved with the Rick Perry campaign for governor back in Texas. Cynthia has also been a strong opponent of abortion, volunteering for the Texas Rally for Life and participating in the March for Life in DC.
Often mistaken for Ann Coulter’s twin, Cynthia loves being a part of the outspoken conservative voice on campus with the GW College Republicans. She believes that it is our duty as young conservatives at this liberal university to lead the revolution against the Democrats’ agenda for a bigger government with a weaker people. An Army brat and a Reagan Republican, Cynthia is particularly passionate about supporting our men and women overseas, and opposing any policy that interferes with their mission or strips them of necessary funding.
On the side, she enjoys reading, tea parties (the kind that liberals despise), Texas BBQ, live music, coffee, and running.
Cynthia’s office hours are Tuesdays from 2-4PM
