About Us
“Representing and promoting the conservative message at GW”
The GW College Republicans is the preeminent conservative organization at The George Washington University.
Named the best chapter in the nation by the College Republican National Committee in 2005, GW has a nationwide reputation of excellence. In recent years, the GW College Republicans have hosted speakers such as Speaker Newt Gingrich, Attorney General John Ashcroft, Secretary Alfonso Jackson, as well as many members of Congress. Simply put, when it comes to quality speakers and top-notch campaigning, there is no better organization on a college campus.
Members of our organization have unparalleled access to everything Washington has to offer, as well as a political experience shared by no others. In the past few years, as an RNC Deployment School, the GWCR’s have participated in ground operations in:
Pennsylvania
Virginia
Maryland
DC
Colorado
Louisiana
Florida
Michigan
This year, as we prepare to help elect John McCain the President of the United States, the GWCR’s will play a vital role in grassroots operations in swing states around the country.
With a comprehensive network of alumni crafting a great internship database, GWCR’s maintain internships and jobs across every level of Washington, from Congressional offices to our exclusive volunteer program with the Executive Office of the President.
Celebrating our 100th year at GW, the GW College Republicans are excited about what is bound to be one of the best years in our century long existence. Come join us! Contact us gop@gwrepublicans.org if you have any questions.
