The Republican staff of a House Committee is now accepting applications for two paid internships.  Vacancies are to be filled immediately.  Responsibilities include: answering phones, sorting mail, updating press lists, greeting visitors, hearing set-up and letter writing.  Interns will be assigned legislative research and special projects as needed.  The ideal candidate will be motivated, mature, detail orientated and possess the ability to multi-task.  This is an excellent opportunity for a college student looking to gain experience working on the Hill.  Paid Spring Interns will work a minimum of 3 days a week, from 9:00am-5:30pm.  Metro benefits may be provided.  Interested candidates should send their resume and cover letter to GOP_intern@mail.house.gov
