SocialVoter-Political Content Specialist

SocialVoter is a Non-partisan, complete social network for political content, social issues and user interaction on the web. Our goal is to grant voters an active voice in shaping political dialog, while communicating with and/or matching like-minded users, and raising voter awareness through information that represents all views, such as news, opinions, voting records, campaign contributions, etc.

OPPORTUNITY
SocialVoter is looking for a team of individuals to help the company maximize Web traffic and overall visibility among our target audience. You will be considered for several related openings, where your responsibilities may include: recommend, post, develop and/or maintain site content or opinions; engagement in active discussion through the various features of the site; creation of a video news segment for access on SocialVoter and YouTube; recruit members, and more. This is an unpaid internship.

Unpaid DC Internship - Senate Republican Conference seeks undergraduate students or recent graduates for January-May 2009 to assist professional staff. Responsibilities include conducting research, assisting with press events, and strategically thinking with staff members regarding different governmental issues.
